Willie Robert Woodcock, Sr., 73, of 1629 Forestville Road passed away peacefully on April 11, 2013 surrounded by his family at Rex Healthcare. 

Willie was born in Wayne County on October 4, 1939 to the late Layton James Woodcock, Sr. and Henrietta Allen Woodcock. Willie was a faithful member of Wake Cross Roads Baptist Church.

      David Allen Woodcock and wife, Angela Woodcock of Wake Forest 
Step-Daughter: Erin E. Parrish and husband, Allan of Princeton 
Grandchildren: William Robert Woodcock, Rachel Elizabeth Woodcock, Hannah Rebecca Woodcock 
Step-Grandchildren: Chris Bishop, Spencer and Jase Parrish 
Brother: Layton Woodcock, Jr. and wife, Jane Woodcock of Greensboro

In addition to his parents, Willie was preceded in death by his first wife, Rebecca Duncan Woodcock in 1993, a son, Willie Robert Woodcock, Jr., in 1998 and a brother, Marvin Woodcock in 2012.
