Obituary for Nancy Holt Compton (Williams) of Huntsville, Alabama
June 1, 1939 - March 8, 2021

Nancy Compton Williams, born in Raleigh. NC and long-time Huntsville resident, was an English teacher at Johnson and Lee High Schools. Her life-long passion was writing poetry, publishing three books. She was a founding member and facilitator of the poetry workshop within the Huntsville Literary Association. She is survived by her husband, Ron, and children Clay Warmbrod (Karen), Kurt Warmbrod (Cathy), and Katrina Warmbrod Stilwell (Cheyne); step-children Randy, Scott (Joy), and Jeff (Carrie) Williams; 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
