Harold Edward (Buzzy) Russell Jr. of Raleigh, NC 
November 12, 1939 - June 1, 2024 

Harold Edward Russell Jr., lovingly known to everyone as Buzzy, passed away on June 1. He was born on November 12, 1939 to Harold Edward Russell and Hilda Perry Russell. 

Buzzy graduated from Broughton High School, UNC-Chapel Hill, and Wake Forest School of Law. He worked at Cameron Brown before practicing law in Raleigh for over 50 years. 

He was a member of Carolina Country Club in Raleigh, Hound Ears Club in Boone, Old Raleigh Boys, and Stag Club. As a devoted member of Edenton Street United Methodist Church, you could find him working the church front desk or volunteering with the Salvation Army in his retirement years. 

He is survived by his wife, Helen Garrett Russell, and his three sons: Ward (Molly), Vann (Caroline), and Grayson (Corey). He is survived by nine beloved grandchildren.
