Carolyn Faye Perry (Swindell), Southampton, NJ
August 23, 1939 - September 24, 2024

Carolyn Faye Perry Swindell was born (in Raleigh, NC), to Anna Lowry and Walter F. Perry. She was the youngest of eight children, two brothers, and five sisters.

Carolyn married the love of her life Arthur James Swindell, Sr. in 1961. She has three children Carolyn Amber, Arthur James Swindell Jr., and Adrian Swindell. Carolyn has four grandchildren, Nicole Amber (Adrian and his wife Melissa's daughter), James Lee (Amber's son), Brandon Andrew (Adrian and his wife Melissa's son), and Grace Lynn (Arthur and his wife Karen's daughter). Grace Lynn gave her a great-grandson Billy David Off in January of 2023.

Carolyn's loving immediate family includes daughters-in-law Karen (Arthur’s wife) and Melissa (Adrian’s wife), John Zech (Amber's partner), sister-in-law Trudy, brothers-in-law Henry and Jack. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandson with all her heart.

Carolyn and her husband Arthur enjoyed music like The Eagles, Johnny Mathias, The Beatles, and Bob Segar. She passed that love of music down to her children. After the kids were gone, she and her husband would take trips to Finger Lakes NY, Hanover & Lambertville PA. They enjoyed live theater and dining out. She survived kidney failure and a kidney transplant, thyroid and breast cancer. This fall was too much for her to overcome.

Our love for her will continue in the children and grandchildren she leaves behind. Instead of flowers, a donation to The American Kidney Foundation or the University of Pennsylvania, transplant department, would be appreciated. In Carolyn's memory, call your parents and your children, and tell them you love them. She would like that.
