Ann Honeycutt (Medlin) of Raleigh, NC
January 16, 1939 - October 22, 2023 

Carolyn Ann Honeycutt Medlin, 84, passed away peacefully at Rex Hospital on October 22, 2023. Born in Raleigh on January 16, 1939, to Lattie Fuller Honeycutt, Sr., and Hazel Ogburn Honeycutt. 

Ann graduated from Broughton High School in 1957. She then graduated from Peace College with an associate degree in business in 1959. She worked at ITT in telecommunications for 12 years and went on to work for the state in the Division of Services for the Blind for 32 ½ years until retirement. 

Ann was an active member of Westminster Presbyterian Church where she served as a deacon, volunteered in Sunday school, served on the Pastoral Church Search Committee, and served meals to the Helen Wright Center for Women. She was also a member of the North Carolina State Employees Association where she attended monthly meetings. 

She loved spending time with her family and close friends, going on vacations. and celebrating holidays and special events with them. Although she did not have children of her own, she was an integral part of her nieces' and nephews' families. Ann was a devoted daughter, cherished sister and inspirational aunt and great aunt who will be remembered for her love of faith, family, and friends. She was known for her integrity, selflessness, kindness and generosity. 

Ann is survived by her two brothers, Dr. Fuller Honeycutt, Jr. and his wife Wendy, Anthony Honeycutt and his wife Theresa. her beloved nephews Chris Honeycutt and Michael Honeycutt; nieces Kelly Makgill and husband Steve, L,urie Finster and husband John; grand nieces and nephews Zachary, Sarah-Ann, Roess, Ryan, Carly, Davis, Jack, Braden, Chloe, Connor, Leah, Emma, Mathew, and AJ.
