ZEBULON — George Robert Hicks Jr., 59, of 7339 Fowler Road, died Friday, February 20, 1998, at his home. Mr. Hicks was a sandblaster with Wake Monument Company.

Surviving: wife, Janice Byrd Hicks;  son, George Robert Hicks III of Fayettevlle; daughters, Rebecca Alice Parra of Durham, Mary Caroline Hicks of Greensboro; stepchildren Michelle Donnally of Fayetteville, Willis Whitten of Louisburg, Wesley Whitten of the home; one grandchild and one step-grandchild.
