Ivan Hardesty Jr. of Raleigh died Friday, December 27, 2002. Ivan was a native of Raleigh and a graduate of UNC, the class of 1966.

He was married to Tempe Outlaw Hardesty for 30 years. He retired as vice president of advertising from Winn-Dixie. He was a loving father and Tarheel fan.

Surviving are sons Steven Hardesty and wife Aimee of Holly Springs, Scott Hardesty and wife Haley of Raleigh, and grandson Bryce Hardesty of Raleigh.
