Healan Elizabeth Justice (Barrow) of Raleigh, NC 

April 15, 1939 - July 2, 2025

On July 2, 2025, Healan Elizabeth Justice (Barrow), a beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away. She was 86. 

Born to Evangeline and Ralph Justice of Raleigh, NC, she graduated from Broughton High School and University of North Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She was married to her husband William B. Barrow on June 10, 1961. Healan was devoted to raising her three children and was a published journalist, writer and editor.    

Healan is preceded in death by her parents. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband of almost 64 years, Bill Barrow; daughter Margaret Kruelle (John); son Jim Barrow (Cristina); son Charlie Barrow (Beth); five grandchildren; cousins; nieces and nephews; numerous relatives and friends. 

A devoted Christian, Healan volunteered at church and enjoyed travel and genealogy.

As Healan's health declined she was blessed with excellent caregivers at Assisted Living Well, Millersville, MD.
