Obituary for Bruce Henry Griset Sr. of Winston Salem, NC
August 3, 1939 – March 20, 2016

Bruce Henry Griset, Sr., 76, passed away on March 20, 2016. He was born in Brooklyn, NY to Henry and Iona Griset. Bruce received his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He then received his graduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Bruce worked at RJR Tobacco Company for 34 years where he was Director of Employee Benefits. He also had seven years of service with RJR Reynolds Credit Union and served as President of RCCU. 

Bruce was a loving husband, father and grandfather. 

He leaves behind his wife of 55 years, Barbara Southerland Griset; sons, Bruce Griset, Jr. (Masha), John S. Griset, Scott J Griset (Jill); grandchildren, Caitlin Griset, Jack Griset, Will Griset, Emily Griset, and Joseph McGuire; as well as many other loved ones.
