Obituary for Hugh Franklin Deans
August 15, 1938 - November 21, 2008

Hugh Franklin Deans, 70, passed away Friday at his home. 

A native of Wake County, he was the son of the late John Preston Deans and Bessie Ellington Deans. He was a 32nd degree Mason, a member of Master-3/8s Lodge, Shrine Temple, a member of York Rites, Scottish Rites and Kerbella Shrine Temple in Tennessee; a member of Amran and was the manager of Dean's Roofing Company. 

Surviving are his wife of 44 years, Margaret Rose Deans; sister, Phyllis Coleman of Lexington; brother, Shorty Deans and wife, Sally of Clayton and several nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by sister, Jean Nowell and brother, Luther Deans.
