Obituary for Carolyn Joyce Dalton of Raleigh, NC

Carolyn Joyce Dalton, 69, of Raleigh, died Friday, March 14,2008. 

Carolyn was born on March 4, 1939 in Long Branch, NJ to the late William Robert and Violet Gouldy Dalton. Carolyn was a graduate of Broughton High School and Peace College. Her first job out of college was serving as a Deputy Clerk in the North Carolina Supreme Court under Adrian Newton. She also served under associate justices, Will Pless, Frank Huskins and Chief Justice James Exum. She was elected Governor of The Legal Secretary Association in 1964. Carolyn worked for the court system for 35 years before retiring on July 31, 1994. - 

Carolyn is survived by a cousin, Sandra R. Goodwin of Attleboro, MA; and many friends through the court system.
